| The County Court House, Roswell...it has had enhancements added over the years such as the dome but the main structure was built if my memory serves me correctly in the early 1920's.... |

| And here we are in UFO Museum...have to say we thought it might be a bit cheesy and tongue in cheek but it was actually very interesting....something definitely happened back in 1947, whether it was an alien spaceship crash landing on a farm a few miles outside of the city or a government experiment only the government know !!! But there were bodies !!!! As I think Arthur C Clarke once said "the human race would have to be very arrogant to think we are the only beings in the universe" !! It was all thought provoking.... |

| After the alien culture back to nature and 12 miles outside of Roswell to The Bottomless Lakes State Park... Nice spot for our lunch sandwich....these are actually sink holes or cenotes rather than lakes... |

| They were caves formed within the limestone and as the Pecos River eroded the escarpment the caves collapsed leaving the deep "lakes".... Well we avoided being taken by the aliens (or did we !!!) and must now brush up our singing voices as tomorrow we head to Amarillo, Texas......Show Me The Way..... !!! |
