| We didn't know anything about this museum until we checked in at the campsite, one of the great things about being flexible we can add in sights along the way....and what a fantastic collection of not only restored campers but also other old artefacts.... The Sisemores began collecting and restoring vintage RVs over 25 years ago... This is a 1921 Ford Lamsteed Kampkar...there were only 5 made... |

| This was the 1st Itasca built, serial number no1, it was a prototype and was in the Winnebago's Welcome Centre for 20 years....it has 6000 original miles on the clock...... |

| As well as the RVs Jack has a large collection of motor bikes, mainly Harleys, juke boxes and other memorabilia... |

| I wasn't quite quick enough with the camera back at the campsite as our neighbours returned home in a chauffeur driven limo complete with cowboy and horns at the front of the car...well we are in Texas.....:) We have enjoyed Amarillo and the area even though it has been very very windy at times...we were looking forward to changing the song to Ooooooklahoma but the weather forecast is for severe storms in Oklahoma so to be on the safe side we are heading south tomorrow to Wichita Falls, not Wichita so can't sing that one either and we'll be more like 72 hours from Tulsa !! The RV museum looked good.Do you think that you will be travelling at 89.
Easter weather turned out good and a good time had by one and all,some liquid refresjment was enjoyed.

Sounds good that you had lots of liquid refreshment and that the Easter weather took a good turn....

What amazes me is the odd museums and exhibits you seem to run across, its good that some Americans are keen to preserve something. The weather, judging by photos, is being good to you, that continual sunshine is a real bonus. Keep on trucking and keep posting the photos for us armchair travellers!! LOL A&M
