| There is a very interesting WW2 Museum here in town....packed full of artefacts and information, with a very knowledgeable curator who talks us through the history of the area and why the museum is here...also in attendance are a few veterans of the war ready to share their stories....the museum also has a DUKW but sadly it's waiting repair and "stuck" in storage so won't be in the parade tomorrow....... Camp Gordon Johnston was a huge military training area for amphibious landings during WW2 originally training for the Pacific Arena rather then European Arena...... We visited on Friday....the parade is tomorrow.... |

| And it's the day of the annual WW2 Vehicles Parade......the raising of the flag proved to be a bit complicated due to various opinions on how it should be done !!! |

| For a small town it was a fair turnout...with a "marching" band, groups of bikers, old cars and various old WW2 vehicles... |

| Great fun....have to say the flag came down quicker than it went up !! Back home to watch The Players Championship from TPC Sawgrass and a long walk along the beach...I, again, have a lovely swim in the sea which is much warmer than expected......
